When refunds apply
Refunds apply when you cancel within the windows in our cancellation policy, when we cancel your booking, when a stay is materially disrupted by something within our control, or for force majeure events.
How long it takes
We initiate the refund within 24 hours of confirmation. The actual credit to your account depends on your payment method:
UPI: 2–5 working days
Credit/debit cards: 5–7 working days
Net banking: 3–5 working days
International cards may take up to 14 working days due to cross-border banking schedules.
Damage deposits
Refundable damage deposits are released within 7 working days of check-out, assuming no damage. Any deductions are documented with photos and itemised invoices, shared with you before the deposit is closed out.
Razorpay processing fees
Razorpay charges a non-refundable payment processing fee (typically 1.8–2.5% of the booking total) on every transaction. This fee is deducted from the refunded amount in cancellations outside force majeure. We don't keep this — Razorpay does.
Disputed transactions
If you've been charged for a stay you didn't book, contact us first at drishtti.dreamscappe@gmail.com with a screenshot. We'll investigate within 24 hours and refund promptly if it's our error. Filing a chargeback before contacting us delays everything for everyone.
